The HRM Department provides support to all Management Companies and shore-based employees. The Department operates with a team of eight and focus for the coming years is on developing and improving HR support across the company. As HR Officer you are responsible for HR support and act as sparring partner and advisor for (line) management and colleagues, with regard to organisational developments and ‘flow’ of personnel, e.g. employee performance management, training & development and absenteeism. You support the business and our employees by developing, implementing and managing a range of (strategic) HR tools. In this position you report to the Head HRM.
Our preferred candidate for this role has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and a minimum of five years’ work experience in a similar position. Experience in an international environment and affinity with the maritime industry is desirable. You are a hands-on professional, able to propose pragmatic solutions and are administrative and process minded.. Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in Dutch and English, plus the ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation, are essential.
