Le Mans Express – Delivery and Namegiving Ceremony
8 March 2010
We are pleased to announce that, after successful delivery, the Namegiving Ceremony of MV Le Mans Express took place today, Monday 8 March 2010, at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Ulsan, Korea.
The vessel is a PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier), with a capacity of 3,500 cars, and is the third in a series of four vessels to be delivered to Vroon during 2009 and 2010. The vessel is able to carry both standard cars and ‘high and heavy cargo’, thus offering the necessary flexibility to the charterers.
The Le Mans Express was christened by Ms. Ji-Sook Chae, Vice President, Head of Planning Department, Eukor Car Carriers Inc.
We wish the vessel and her crew safe voyages.
