VOS Hestia - Namegiving Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that the namegiving ceremony for the VOS Hestia took place on Friday 29 May in Singapore. The vessel was christened by Mrs Irene Khong, wife of Capt Khong Shen Ping, Asst. Chief Executive of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

The VOS Hestia, a 1,400 dwt anchor handling tug support (AHTS) vessel, was built in Fujian, China, by Nam Cheong Dockyard Sdn Bhd. She is the second in a series of twelve AHTS vessels that will be delivered to Vroon through 2011

The vessel will be operated by Vroon Offshore Services Pte Ltd.
