Bahamian Express – Namegiving and Launching Ceremony

We are pleased to announce that MV Bahamian Express, an 1800 teu container vessel, was successfully launched at Taizhou Kouan Shipbuilding Co., Ltd, China.

Launching took place at 09.00 local time on Wednesday 12 August.

Namegiving ceremony and launching were originally planned on Monday 10 August, but strong winds and heavy rain showers, caused by Typhoon Morakot, forced the yard to postpone.

Delivery to Vroon will take place early 2010.
