Vroon24 2026: Celebrating people, safety and teamwork
On 4 November 2026, colleagues across Vroon came together to celebrate our annual Group-wide safety day, Vroon24.
This year's theme, BE ALL YOU CAN BE, encouraged everyone to believe in themselves, keep learning, support one another and, above all, never give up on their safety and well-being.
For the first time, our Vroon24 Centre was based in Aberdeen, with colleagues from our Dutch offices joining in the Vroon spirit. The centre was active throughout the day, connecting with vessels across the globe for conversations about health and safety. Members of the management team also visited vessels in Aberdeen, taking the opportunity to meet crew members, exchange experiences and learn more about life on board.
There were plenty of inspiring conversations. From the importance of staying curious, developing skills and adapting to unexpected challenges to looking after one another and maintaining a positive team spirit, our crews shared what BE ALL YOU CAN BE means to them in their daily work.
The day also provided an opportunity to celebrate the diversity of our people. Colleagues in Aberdeen brought homemade dishes representing different cultures and backgrounds for a shared lunch, including a selection of Indian cuisine. Alongside this, a healthy eating demonstration highlighted the importance of looking after ourselves, both physically and mentally. And, naturally, there was room for dessert!
We also received some fantastic photos and video contributions from our teams at sea and ashore, showing how they put the theme into practice. From teamwork and healthy living to activities that bring crews together outside working hours, the creativity and enthusiasm were great to see.
And there's more to come! We're putting together a Vroon24 2026 movie featuring some of the highlights, contributions and moments from the day. Keep an eye out for its release soon!
A special mention goes to the crew of VOS Guardian, who celebrated an impressive milestone during Vroon24 week: 10 years LTI-free. Congratulations and thank you to everyone on board for their continued commitment to promoting and upholding Vroon's Safety Culture.
We would like to thank all our colleagues, both at sea and ashore, for their enthusiasm, contributions and commitment to making Vroon24 2026 another special day.
While Vroon24 brings us together for one dedicated day, health and safety remain a priority every day.
BE ALL YOU CAN BE. Get involved and celebrate health and safety – today and every day!
