Business Applications Analyst (1 FTE)

With headquarters located in Breda (the Netherlands), Vroon employs about 2,000 professionals in offices around the world and on board a diverse fleet of approximately 120 vessels. The Company is active - through various subsidiaries and under different brand names - in the following business segments: livestock carriers; offshore-support vessels and services; dry-cargo vessels; container vessels; product tankers; high-heat tankers; car carriers and vessel-management services.

From our Breda head office, approximately 120 staff support the Company’s activities.

 

The ICT Department provides support to the Vroon offices, vessels and employees worldwide. 

 

What will you do?

We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our ICT Business Applications team, focusing on our transition towards the Microsoft D365 Ecosystem. Together with your teammates, you will be responsible for implementing the D365 Supply Chain platform on our vessels and preparing for migration of our Finance processes from AX2012 to D365. Both migrations are expected to be completed during the second half of 2023, after which the support and optimisation phase will kick in. An exciting journey is ahead!

In this position, you will cooperate intensively not only within the ICT team and with our IT-support partners, but also with business colleagues in our Management Companies in the Netherlands and abroad, ensuring value is being delivered.

Who are we looking for?

Our preferred candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology and a minimum of three years’ experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365, preferably in the area of Supply Chain and/or Finance. Are you the person we are looking for, and are you eager to turn your functional knowledge and experience into practice, supporting our journey towards the D365 Ecosystem? We are looking for a candidate who describes him-/herself as an enthusiastic ICT talent with:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills in English and Dutch;
