Meet Joyce. Joyce is our Group Controlling Manager and together with her small and enthusiastic team, she has the ambition and motivation to not only control the financial health of the business but to support the business to increase their control of their financial health.

You understand  the mission and you are motivated to apply your knowledge, expertise and enjoy using your people and influencing skills.

You have evidential previous experience in supporting business leaders and their teams in assuming ownership of the financial perspectives of their business area.

You have the gravitas and confidence to challenge the current way of working and identify improvements.

You are a true problem solver and have the personality to present innovative solutions in a manner that will appeal to and motivate the business along group procedures.

You are not only able to identify areas for improvement and to implement these but are also hands-on enough to take care of the recurring controlling activities. You may even enjoy the latter.

Within the above described context, you will work with the business segments Tankers (High Heat, Product) & Dry (Container, Car, Dry Cargo) and your focus will be on:

  • The recurring controlling activities: Drive cash-flow forecast processes, drive the weekly, monthly, yearly and long-term Financial Planning processes and drive the business-review cycles;
  • Execute ad-hoc analyses and reporting;
  • Partner with and drive the business to achieve short- and long-term objectives;
  • Be a bridge-builder among business and finance-related support functions, with independent (financial) views on what is best for the Company as a whole;
  • Drive optimisation and improvement of processes, standardisation of reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information;
  • Participate in business-improvement projects and validate business cases;
  • Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities;
